abudujanafpointOn June 11, 2010, Al-Qaida's As-Sahab Media Foundation released a new video of Humam al-Bilawi, the Jordanian national responsible for the December 2009 suicide bombing attack at Camp Chapman that killed 7 CIA personnel. The video features al-Bilawi sitting outdoors, flanked by two masked associates, and discussing the virtues of "martyrdom operations." Al-Bilawi notes that if he “find[s] out that these words influenced one person…and he leaves forJihad for the cause of Allah, or fought for the cause of Allah, or carried out a martyrdom operation, impacted by these scenes, then” he “would be joyous on the Day of Judgment.” According to al-Bilawi, “The martyrdom operations cannot all be the only way to fight the enemies of Allah, but it is the summit of jihad.” He “never found a deed that would elevate killing the disbelievers so highly and had their men cry like a martyrdom operation” and praised the martyrs “in Madrid, in London, and before that in Nairobi and Dar-es-Salam.”
